I have been a client of Stephanie since 2008. We originally started as work colleagues so I decided to take advantage of the massage therapy readily available in the office. Who doesn’t like a great massage, right? Well, in no time at all, I realized that Stephanie was truly gifted in her abilities to not only relax but to heal.

You see, I ruptured a disc in my low back in 2004 and, while I had made great strides in managing my pain over the years, I still struggled with keeping everything in balance and keeping my pain to a minimum. That’s when I decided to begin seeing Stephanie on a monthly basis. While we haven’t worked together for years, I’ve chosen to continue seeing her because she has really become an integral part of managing not only my pain but improving my overall well-being.

In Summer 2012, I even upped the ante by not only deciding to run a half marathon, which I’d done before, but by adding a 10-mile mud run filled with obstacles called The Tough Mudder, and my first physique competition. I trained hard for 3 months until all 3 events occurred in two back-to-back weekends in the Fall. I’d always had complete faith in Stephanie’s abilities but this was the ultimate test. Could she keep me on my feet? Absolutely! I completed all 3 events and even got a new personal record for the half marathon! While I see her every month just to keep things in check, I know that whatever fitness challenges I decide to pursue in the future, Stephanie will be an important part of helping me reach those goals. There’s no one else I could recommend more highly for someone’s massage therapy needs than Stephanie Martinez.
